Our story

I've tried a number of different ways to trace their identities. But how can you do this when you sometimes don't even know in which country they were taken?

I propose an approach that draws its strength from participative research: publish your photos on the one hand, consult photos already online on the other. Get in touch, share your guesses.

Help each other identify these unknowns and make progress in genealogical research.

The reverse side of photos is often a mine of information, with its annotations (date, place, first names, etc.).
