I'm looking for a photo of my mother's cousin; she lived in Clichy-la-Garenne (France) and was called Colette.
His parents came from Salonika (Ottoman Empire, then Greece from 1912).
They settled in Clichy-la-Garenne as soon as they arrived in France in the early 1930s, and were married there in 1935.
Colette was born on March 15, 1937, and lived with her parents at 46 rue du Général Roguet in Clichy-la-Garenne, until she left without returning on November 5, 1942.
She was 5 years old and would have been in kindergarten at the local school.
We don't have any photos of her, and this search will finally reveal her face.
So if any of your relatives lived in Clichy-la-Garenne during this period and are roughly the same age as Colette, it would be great to look in your archives for any class photos.
Meticulous parents often wrote the pupils' first and last names on the back.
