I'm looking for a photo of my mother's cousin; she lived in Clichy-la-Garenne (France) and was called Colette.<\/p>\n
His parents came from Salonika (Ottoman Empire, then Greece from 1912).<\/p>\n
They settled in Clichy-la-Garenne as soon as they arrived in France in the early 1930s, and were married there in 1935.<\/p>\n
Colette was born on March 15, 1937, and lived with her parents at 46 rue du G\u00e9n\u00e9ral Roguet in Clichy-la-Garenne, until she left without returning on November 5, 1942.<\/p>\n
She was 5 years old and would have been in kindergarten at the local school.<\/p>\n
We don't have any photos of her, and this search will finally reveal her face.<\/p>\n
So if any of your relatives lived in Clichy-la-Garenne during this period and are roughly the same age as Colette, it would be great to look in your archives for any class photos.<\/p>\n
Meticulous parents often wrote the pupils' first and last names on the back.<\/p>\n
